Williams Denton sponsors Taith Eryri
02 Aug 2017
Williams Denton was delighted to sponsor Caernarvonshire and Anglesey Motor Club’s recent Taith Eryri classic car tour this year.
The event was part of the club’s fund-raising for Wales Air Ambulance, raising an impressive £3,175.10 for the charity.
Starting, and ending, at Caernarfon, Taith Eryri saw classic car owners take part in a 73-mile rally across some of the most picturesque parts of Snowdonia. Each of the drivers paid an entry fee and all of their proceeds were donated to the Welsh Air Ambulance.
Williams Denton sponsored the souvenir road books, which included maps and other information for use by the drivers.
Bangor-based client manager Angharad Morgan, whose father Ifor Davies is a long-standing member of the Caernarvonshire and Anglesey Motor Club, was on hand to distribute the books to drivers as she marshalled the route.
Of the £3,175.10 presented to Wales Air Ambulance, £1,752.10 came from Taith Eryri itself, £223 from a raffle and £1,200 that the motor club had raised during its 80th anniversary year.
